Got this idea from a friend.
What happens when a vampire puts on sun block, lots of sunblock?
Does the sun still make them shine or what?
Stupid question I know, haha
But I cant help but wonder, anyone got any ideas?

Hm. I don't know if vampire sparkling trumps science and all, but it sounds like a plausible idea. I looked up sunblock, and this is what I found:

How does sunblock block out UVa and UVb rays?

Light scattering. This mechanism causes the ultraviolet radiation to be reflected in many directions from microscopic faces of crystals of some pigment.

So there might be something there, I guess. Funny question.

hmmm... That would be entertaining... because they would probably be worried about missing a spot so they'd put in on majorly thick... though, they wouldn't have to worry about looking funny since they're already so ungodly pail that it's impossible for the sun block to mess with their complection... yeah... it'd be interesting if they tried it... and amazing if it worked!!! good thought ^_^

I doubt sunblock alone would help. I mean, the light still passes through to the skin, that's why you can SEE it. I think that heavy makeup might work

If it scatters light then wouldn't it cause the light coming from them to shine even brighter?

idk

funny question
