SciFi for me. Just finished Starship Troopers and am almost done with The Stars My Destination.

Starship Troopers sucked, so far stars has been very good.

I think I've read that a while ago. Is it about a kid who steals Zeus' thunderbolt?

I'm assuming so. Is the movie about an interstellar war against bugs?
Might be based on flashbacks.

Anyways, I liked Heinlein up until now.
Just finished Slaughterhouse-Five again. And a bunch of brilliant vonnegut short stories.

Yes that is the first book, the Lightning Thief. There is also Sea of Monsters, Titans Curse, and the Battle of the Labyrinth, which came out a few days ago.

Starship Troopers the movie is a classic, though at the end you won't know what exactly the point of it was. Whether it was a comedy, action, political satire or propaganda.... it's most likely just a comedy with the guise of an action film.

Currently, Elantris by Brandon Sanderson. So far it seems promising, I may have to read his other works when I'm done with it.
In general, mostly fantasy/sci-fi. On average I read one novel every 1-3 days, depending on my work schedule.
