Tailsin was bored, she had been wandering around in circles for ages trying to think of something to do but instead had found herself slightly fascinated by the way she had managed to make herself dizzy, and then she had fallen over and was bored. She was also glad there wasn’t anyone around to see her! Oh how embarrassing that would have been, especially if Adi had been about. Luckily no one was about and so it was easy to just lay there and pretend nothing had happened. At least she had thought no one was about. She tilted her head a little hearing some chirping.
“Nili!”
Tailsin growled a little and stood up, her tail flicking behind her. If that bird was laughing at her she would be lunch for sure! She walked towards where the chirping was coming from which was apparently behind a rather large rock. She jumped onto the rock and looked down, there wasn’t Nili but it was a bird and it looked hurt.
“What you doing down there? You wanna be eaten or something?”

The bird looked up at the lioness, afraid at the first but then the lioness spoke and the bird wasn’t amused.
“Yes because I would just love to sit here and wait to be eaten.” She was a sarcastic thing, that was clear to see.
She ruffled her feathers a little and looked away from the lioness before trying to preen some rather awkward looking feathers back into place. She was not happy over this, stupid bird she was. So silly letting that beast get hold of her. It had only been a youngster as well. She hadn’t been impressed with herself, not at all.
“Who is Nili anyway? I heard you call her name? Is that another lion friend of yours who will come and eat me?” She could be a stubborn and harsh thing at time. Her and Tailsin could easily be the best of friends.

Tailsin was a little taken a back by the bird. Were all birds as bossy and stubborn as Nili? Clearly they all were.
“Sorry. Why don’t you fly away then if you don’t want to be eaten. Surely that would make much more sense then sitting here!” Tailsin didn’t understand the strange bird. It clearly wanted eating otherwise it wouldn’t be waiting around to be eaten would it!
“Nili is a bird like you, just she looks different and is out to get me.” Yes a bird was out to get a lion. Tailsin really wasn’t the cleverest of lionesses but then she never claimed to be.

Well this was one very confused lioness. A bird out to get her? Oh how amusing! This lioness was just hilarious, a bird out to get her, Doea found it far to hard to keep her beak shut and to now laugh too loudly.
"I am hurt you silly thing. Otherwise I would fly." She had a short fuse this one, or maybe it was just with Tailsin.
"A bird out to get you? My you can make one laugh can't you!" She tried not to laugh but she couldn't stop a chuckle escaping. Nili must be a fierce thing if she was out to get a lioness.

Tailsin wasn't amused at all the laughing though an idea did pop into her head.
"I have a proposition for you bird. Firstly do you have a name?" A silly question maybe but Tailsin didn't know much about birds other then they were food and then there was Nili who Adi could have named for all she knew.
"Secondly, I will help you get back to full health and protect you from being eaten, if you find out what Nili is planning for me. She is bound to like you." Your much like her... though Tailsin didn't add that on the end. She wanted to be on the birds good side, not her bad side.

"Doea is my name. Whats yours lion?" Doea could be just as annoying when it came to addressing someone.
She then thought about the proposition. A spy? She could be a spy and get protection from a lion wouldn't be a bad idea. It would keep her safe and then she could live longer.
"You have yourself a deal lion."

Tailsin smiled.
"My name is Tailsin." She flicked her tail happily and smile or was it a smirk crossed her maw.
She then turned to the sky and then back to the bird.
"Right then, lets take you to find somewhere safe." She then gently picked up the bird in her mouth and headed back towards her den.

"Tailsin...." She tried the name, it wasn't that bad a name.
"UGGGGGH! Oh how disgusting she was in a lions mouth ewwww ewww ewww ewwwwwwwwwww
"You better be grateful lion, this is disgusting!" She then decided there wasn't much point in moaning, after all where would it get her? She was only moaning because she had nothing better to do and it wasw disgusting. Ewwww.
