Can I use a sharpie to draw/write the runes? Its all I have.

At this point I would say use whatever materials you have available to make your Runes. biggrin

The Runes take a very long time to internalise and understand. If you haven't "taken them up", then you may find it difficult to interpret them.

Have you blooded them? Perhaps they haven't been "finished".

I was reading it and it all seemed familiar xD I have a copy of Taking up the Runes myself.
So far its been the best and most acurate book I've read. =3

Since you are first starting out it should be fine, write them in red sharpie though. As red is the color of life in my opinion. Although Blue can also be percieved as such (I've read some where that odin believed this too, But i can't recall were i've read it. Dont tae my word for it though, It was probobly in a Ralph Blum book >.<) . It depends on what feels right to you.

I like it, especially since she takes into account more that just her point of view. I feel bad, though because I haven't been keeping up with my studies, which means the thread has sort of fallen to the wayside for the time being. sweatdrop

I know what you mean. I've been slacking off my rune studies as well, Its hard to balance it out with my wiccan studies. and on top of that I have school and a job. >.<

Fasinating! i never knew that. Can you send me all of that info to my email at Arturia_Lace@yahoo.com i knew what runes were and some background about them, but i never knew what to put on a Rune, like what symbols and stuff.
