One time when my sim was eating, it spoiled while it was eating. seriously, is this rare to everyone? or unless you have something else you wanna ask people if something has happened to them, that's good too.

It's common. The food was just out too long. It's timed to spoil after a certain time, so I guess your sim was just eating it when its time had come. XD
