Lord. Lady. North House, Zhi Ming. Tianxia.
The male sat at the entrance of their new home. The soft grass surrounded him all around, before him was the grand gateway that lead to the outside world. The soft mist continued to fall through it from the nearby waterfall who's roar continues on softly in the distance. Behind him were the dens bore into the massive mountain face, the tiers like steps lead up to the top where the large opening resides the love of his life. This was their home here in the tianxia, the pride raised from the ground by Afu and Ahali, settled in the Ethiopian Highlands. The male stood there, looking out at the sky of all that had happened.
"So they have given us this place. They have given us the northern range of our home. They have called us Lord and Lady. Even far as to come up with new names for ourselves here in the pride."
Moto'vianzio growled softly, the rumbling that signaled his anger continued to roll in his chest as always. His eyes were calm, their emerald gaze shining bright in the midday sun.
"Trigger is not good enough, both of us must have new names."
The Lord closed his eyes softly and thought. A name. What name would suit him? The North House, Zhi Ming as the Empress had called it, showed the pride's strength. He was the Lord. What name, word, showed such strength and still retained his own traits?
So much to think about. So much to do. He had his promise to keep to his half-brother Trig, he had to get Kinari and keep him here, calm him down if possible. He had to find a way to inform Ger, Ezekiel, and Trig of all of this, but how? He had to find Adia'dafina and make sure that her cubs and herself were alright out there. He had to make sure Afu and Ahali knew that they were doing alright.
But...
As far as he was concern, the only thought that outweighed all others was right up there in the Royal Den. The female and the precious lives she carried. A smile painted itself on his maw just at the thought of her. She must have known. She must have seen it. She was his love, she carried bore the symbol of his love upon her body, she carried the lives that they created together.
It was just then that the soft steps of tiny paws came up from behind though he paid no heed. There were only three living souls, excluding the precious lives mentioned. The Meerkat crossed his arms and squeaked softly.
"My Lord, it is almost time."
The Lord nodded, raising to his feet. The lion was massive, by no means was he small in any aspect. His paws were large, the claws that stuck out were sharp as his fangs. His body was wrapped in toned muscle that only a life time of hard work could develop. The soft, black-red mane curled down his chest and down his neck. He was a virile and dangerous male who was tamed by a impulsive and mannered female.
"Fuku, you will bear witness to the lives bringing into this world as you did with me. You better respect my mate, if not before, you better do it now. This is a very important time for us. If you have to, keep yourself out of visible sight."
"Right, Moot," the meerkat chuckled as he scaled the massive leg and onto his shoulder.
The Lord shook his head allowing this comment to pass this one time before making his way up the center entrance to the Royal Den.
