i always turn moveobjects on and build a 1x1 room and use the hand tool to put them in it. my newspaper is private! stressed

AHH I hate when that happens. I suggest, uh, when they start stealing your paper, hit pause then go into buy or build mode. Type in moveObjects on then first take the paper out of their hands, then delete them! xD its the perfect plan! xD

Hey, how could I get some of those NPCs over to my lot to steal some of mine?! I'm very neglectful of those things and forget to recycle them until a message pops up saying I have too many... At which point I promptly move_objects on and simply delete them.

lol That kept happening to me the other day, but it wasn't an npc, It was her ex-boyfriend (They now hate each other to the maximum), he kept walking by her house, grabbing the newspaper and running off with it. I found it quite hysterical.

I found one good way to get rid of the newspaper theives. If you have the OFB expansion pack, get a sim to I think the silver badge (might be bronze), and they have the option to make a robot that is like a security guard. Any time a sim comes on to a lot to steal a newspaper, it goes and shocks them. Its rather amusing ^-^
