McFly's new album a steal
ITN - Wednesday, June 25 11:50 am
Pop act McFly are so keen to get their music heard, they're giving their new album away for free.
Radio:ACTIVE is being distributed next month in conjunction with The Mail On Sunday, allowing the band access to the paper's 5.8 million readers.
The band have set up their own label, Super Records.
Singer and guitarist Tom Fletcher said: "We're very excited about this great opportunity. Setting up our own label allows us to rip up the rulebook and find new ways of reaching an audience."
McFly follow in the footsteps of Prince, who also gave away copies of his album.
A deluxe version of Radio:ACTIVE will be available in stores in September.
Good for us who live in the UK, like me then. But I feel that overseas fans may be a little jealous (eep, don't hurt me!)
Oh well, you can still get the deluxe edition on the internet. biggrin
This is not just a waffle. This is a flattened waffle. Osaka's pancake if you wish.
