Laine sits on the ground by the stream, waiting for something interesting to happen. Stuff has been boring lately, ever since she had played with that crazy draekat, her life had seemed dull. It was so hard though! She was a good faekat, but yet she liked to be taken advantage of. Not sexually, just in generally. She liked to make other faes happy, and any suffering seemed to make her happy in the process. She stares down at the water, wishing for someone to come along to take the boredom away.

Quinn was walking towards the stream with the intent of getting a simple drink. Quinn would have never guessed what he would find, Quinn saw a little faebear by the stream and had a great idea. I will rough her up a bit, I need to have a little fun and it will be easy he thought to himself smiling evilly before ducking behind the nearest tree. Stealthily he moved before seemingly materializing out of the blue he sneaked up on the unsuspecting bear and aiming a smart kick in an attempt to push her in the water.

Laine feels something behind her, but it's too late, his foot made contact and she toppled into the water, squeeking as she went in. She sputtered as she broke the surface again, and turns to face her attacker. Had her wish been answered so quickly? "Hello?" she asked, wiping water away from her eyes. Luckily her hair was neatly tucked away in now-wet braids hanging beside her face, so it didn't cause a problem with her vision. Once she could see, she started to climb out of the water, her eyes diverted from his face.

Laughing at the bear as she squeaked his eyes glinted evilly and he stared down at the rainbow bear and he chuckled to himself to easy he thought to himself. Leaning back on a tree he asked "Whats your name bear?" in a cool deceptive voice. He waited for her to get up not sure what he was gonna do with her she sure wasn't getting away for awhile he thought to himself looking to his new plaything again. Sneering down he waited for her to look at him and his ice cold eyes. His dragon wrapped around him like it normally did and it also stared at her curiously.

"My name is Laine," she says, averting her eyes as she stood. Finally she ventured a glance up into his eyes, and they pierced her like a knife through the heart. She immeadiately looked away again, staring at his feet, hardely noticing the dragon wrapped around him. Nervously she tries to wring the water out of her braids. This nervousness, this fluttery feeling in her stomach, was what she loved.... well, not all she loved, but a LOT of it. Part of her might want to run screaming from him, but the rest of her knew she never would, and she made herself stay.

Quinn knew if she ran she could easily outrun him, he had never been that fast but he was an amazing tracker not many could hide from him and hehad memorized the bears scent already. This is better then fishing for babies Quinn thought laughing at himself at the memory. Watching the bear he watched er look into his eyes and the look on her face was priceless he thought it was hysterical but his facial expression stayed calm and expressionless. "So Laine is it?" he asked in a deceivingly conversational looking down at her with his piercing blue eyes.

She knew she must look ridiculous, she was usually painfully aware of this fact. And it wouldn't matter if the baddie had grinned outright, she wasn't about to notice. "Yes, sir." she said quietly, adressing his feet. She didn't remember anything about her past, save for a few months. She always talked shortly, quick and to the point. She wasn't one for conversation- none of the faes near her home would have anything to do with her, they thought she was creepy. She knew she was, but it didn't change anything.

Seeing the uncertainty in her eyes he was content in how it was going. He used the approach where he will act nice get his victims trust but constantly made little jabs at his prey small enough where they won't know it until he turns viciously on them. Today Quinn was not patient enough to go through the process that could take weeks of his precious time. He looked down at the little bear "Nice name" he said coolly with a bit of malice in his voice.

"Thank-you," she said, politely. She began to wonder what exactly this was. Maybe he was just messing with her? She looked up toward his face, noticing his familiar for the first time. The little dragon looked dangerous, but beautiful. She respectfully averted her eyes from it, staring down at her now-clasped paws. "Beautiful," she whispered.

He ignored her thank you and he looked at her face as she saw his dragon. Looking down at her his keen ears heard the tiny whisper of beautiful as she adverted her eyes away from it. "Yes he is rather pretty" he said petting his dragon fondly. The dragon stayed there motionless staring at the faebear.

It didn't bother her at all that he would ignore her, though she was a little surprised that he'd heard her, and she looked up. He looked so attached to the dragon, the severity seemed to vanish from his eyes for just a moment as he petted him. But when he turned his full attention back to her, she finds it hard to keep her eyes on his, but she felt it necessary to prove that she was not afraid of him. Her stomach fluttered, eventually found herself tasting blood, and realized she'd been biting her lip with one tooth, spilling blood onto her lips.

Quinn had been saved by his familiar dragon and in turn has saved it's life, they have been companions ever since. The submissive faebear was kindof eating at him, what was the point of holding her if she just let's it happen? he thought to himself but quickly dismissed it. He was nice to that majerea and thought he might be getting soft.
