Volume 1
Entering school, Kazuya is introduced to the Student Body President, Shinobu Tezuka, and Kazuya's dorms's Head Resident, Mitsuru Ikeda. The two come across as nice, handsome young men. They escort Kazuya to his new home--a dorm called Ryokurin-ryû--but because the name is a mouthful, everyone calls it by its English translation, Greenwood. Arriving so late in school, Kazuya is assigned to the last available room in the dorm, and paired up with his least expected choice for a roommate--Shun Kisaragi, the cutest girl in the guy's dorm!
Volume 2
The head resident of Greenwood dorm, Mitsuru Ikeda, has been kidnapped by men dressed in black wearing dark glasses and riding in a jet-black expensive car! But standing right next to him when he was kidnapped was cute, girlish Shun Kisaragi, the child of a wealthy and powerful company president! Why would anyone kidnap Mitsuru, whose favorite meal is whatever is on next-door dormmate Kazuya Hasukawa's plate? And why is Shun the only one who seems to care that Mitsuru is gone?
Volume 3
Life at all-boys school Ryokuto Academy's dorm--more commonly known as Greenwood--has never been wackier. Cute teen idol Mieko Nitta needs two bodyguards, and since handsome upperclassman Mitsuru Ikeda and no-nonsense student Kazuya Hasukawa had a day's worth of experience doing just that, they get the job! But to their dismay, Mieko really does need bodyguards! Can anyone find bodyguards for the "bodyguards"? Then, take a peek into the private lives of all four of our heroes and how they spend their New Year's vacation. Finally, be treated to a Valentine's story about Jin'ichiro Furusawa, the tall, quiet, and incredibly strong biker dude! Could the manliest guy in the dorm possibly be more inept with girls than Kazuya?
Volume 4
Perpetually stressed-out Kazuya has long known that Greenwood Dorm houses the most dysfunctional assortment of oddballs this side of the nutty universe, yet the question remains--how did it all begin being that way?! Journey back a full year to when the emotionless ice-cube of a human being Shinobu Tezuka first met the wily, mercurial, and stunningly gorgeous Mitsuru Ikeda. What transformed these two into the tag-teaming head residents whose mission in life seems to be the nonstop torture of hapless Kazuya? Then, brace yourselves to witness the Greenwood characters take on alternate personas in a Here is Greenwood fantasy side story!
Volume 5
Kazuya is so engrossed in an intense ping-pong match against his classmate Yoshitake that he is unaware of his unconscious motivations.... Then, with his mind still in disarray, he is forced to play a female role in the upcoming production of the school's cultural festival. The reappearance of student body president Shinobu's troublemaking sister does little to improve his latent thespianism. Plus, as more is revealed about Kazuya's brother Kazuhiro's courtship with the love of Kazuya's life, a shocking revelation emerges from the shadows….
Volume 6
Kazuya Hasukawa enrolled in the prestigious Ryokuto Academy to get a little ivy-walled peach and quiet. He had no idea he'd be assigned to Greenwood Dormitory, the school's haven for eccentrics, where anarchy is the order of the day, every day. This time around, Shinobu's usual Valentine's Day worries--three dates at once!--are interrupted by a visit from a space alien. Mitsuru organizes a baseball team to settle an old grudge. And Kazuya is put through his paces in preparation for the most fearsome task imaginable: filling Mitsuru's and Shinobu's shoes as the new Dorm Head!
But things don't get really out of hand until the boys run into their old friend, idol singer Nitta Mieko...who invites Mitsuru and Shinobu to appear in a TV commercial! Can Greenwood survive a brush with stardom?
Volume 7
When Kazuya Hasukawa's brother married the girl Kazuya loves, he fled to Ryokuto Academy, where he thought life would be simpler. Was he ever wrong! Assigned to Greenwood Dormitory, Kazuya has become the plaything of golden boys Shinobu Tezuka and Mitsuru Ikeda, who ensure that his stay is anything but relaxing!
Not that Mitsuru and Shinobu don't have their own problems. They can't even make a simple trip to the ice rink without getting into a rivalry with female twin ice-skating champions. And when a girl from Mitsuru's old school shows up at Greenwood, Mitsuru has to face his checkered past as a teenage gang member.
Meanwhile, the home Kazuya left behind has a brand-new resident. It was hard enough for Kazuya to see his brother married to the woman he loves. How will he survive now that the happy couple has a baby?
Volume 8
Ryokuto's annual sports festival is around the corner, and Kazuya's legendary speed (he's had plenty of practice running) has the whole school fighting to get him on a team. The brouhaha attracts a creepy character with plans to put Kazuya on the fast track to the Olympics...by nearly training him to death! Kazuya's luck seems to take a turn for the better when he finds himself in Cherrywood, an all-girls' dorm. But could there be anything scarier than female versions of Mitsuru and Shinobu?
All this, plus the continuation of the Here Is Devilwood fantasy side story!
Volume 9
Join the residents of Greenwood Dormitory for a final volume of headaches and heartaches in the place they've all learned to call home. This time around, anything can happen. Will Kazuya find love at last...and stop carrying a torch for his brother's wife? Will the incomparable Shinobu Tezuka and Mitsuru Ikeda finally run out of luck, looks and/or money? Will the girls of Greenwood find their princes? For the sake of fangirls everywhere, will Shinobu and Mitsuru kiss? The fun starts here! |
