Two moon cycles had passed since she'd discovered the truth. Maluuni was a slave among demons, only good for breeding and doing what she was told. Or so the rest of the pride seemed to think. Maluuni herself thought different. She would NOT live like this again...EVER.
She'd been watching her cubs...watching to see which ones were tainted by the demons. Two of her daughters were a lost cause. Beautiful En'da and Kase...She sighed to herself as she looked about the den. It was still day out...But this was the only chance she would get. She started to wake the four cubs she could take carefully...
"Ri...Meleth, Ia, Tui..." Her voice was soft, to ensure only those four heard it. "We're taking a trip, my little ones."
