He nodded, feeding off her enthusiasm and feeling his own confidence soaring. He could do this! This would be fun! And then he would return a fully-fledged member, filled with musical inspiration!
He nodded. "You are meant to be in this pride. You fit so well. Things here would be sad without your smile to brighten it up. You're a lot like your mother, you really are. You both help others to realise their potential."
He purred gratefully and blinked happily at her. "I'll see you when I get back. Take care!" And with a happy little mewling sound he trotted off, spirits soaring as he trotted into his first adventure.
Hopefully...it wouldn't be his last.
