Question about "transfering data". Help?

I understand that you can transfer Sims 2 data by simply backing up the files, and transfering them using a file and data transfer tool, making it able to have your sims/neighborhoods/downloads available on a different computer.


Can the same be done for The Sims 1?


Sims 1 files are alittle different than Sims 2 files; they're stored on the hard drive instead of in your documents.

So, is it possible to transfer ((if I ever get a new computer rolleyes )) Sims 1 data over to the new computer?

I would HATE to go back and rebuild ALL those lots again. gonk



If anyone can answer this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm pretty sure that you can just copy/paste them in into the new computer once you install the game.

But I'll ask around. mrgreen
