Burton's Alice is going to be utter crap, just like his versions of Charlie & The Chocolate Factory and Planet of The Apes.

First point, if they wanted a gothic take on Alice, surely American McGee's would be the best option.


Second point, Sweeny Todd was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over rated and bored me shitless, there was like one amusing bit in the entire film.

Tim Burton is insanely over-rated.
Sweeney Todd was annoying, the characters beyond unlikable, and the singing mostly lip-synched to pre-recorded tracks.

Musical movies are so pathetic. If you wanted to see the story the way it was supposed to be told, just watch the damn Broadway. I saw the Broadway a few years ago, and it's about 10x better than that POS movie.
