Unyezi didn't miss a step or beat when the conversation turned on something that he had never really heard of before and it was certainly not something he understood immediately. He got enough from it, though, that he was able to respond.. well enough.
"Oh, well," he said, the uncertainty in his voice edging away a bit as he thought and continued, "I'm sure many here would agree the moon is not a bad thing to see." They had a special appreciation for it, certainly, and it was very beautiful. This, maybe, explained why Sahar was following it, was trying to use the moon as an indication of where he should be.
"The full moon brings many things for us, here," he said conversationally, "It is when cubs of the high class are born, when joining rogues are initiated, it is when adolescents are welcomed into their class and take up their position in the pride."

Sahar could hear the uncertainty in Unyezi's voice which caused the youth to drop his head and his ears to lay flat in dissapointment. He should have figured that these visions would make anyone uncertain about him. The only good point was that Unyezi hadn't just turned around and ushered him out of the pride's lands because of it.
As conversation continued though, Sahar got the sensation that maybe he wasn't completely considered a shady character so he listened to what was said with his full attention. It was amazing to hear how much the pride based their loves around the phases of the moon. It was just a marvelous idea really! The more that was said about it, the more Sahar began to love the lifestyle of the pride.

"The new moon is quite opposite the full moon," he continued, picking up the pace slightly- though not so much as to be inconsiderate to the handicap of the other lion, "As I've said, it's very unlucky for us. And lions born on the night of a new moon are slaves when the reach adolescence, so don't be alarmed if you spot any. They have no particular master and serve the pride in general where needed, we are not crueler than necessary."
He did not want to scare Sahar away, but he did wish there to be any problems. His welcome would be short if this was something he would object to too vehemently.
"I'm sure you'll learn more when we get there," he added, resuming a more cheerful tone as he led the way.
(( The end. So you don't end up waiting 9+ days for a response xD;; Assumptions made include no major arguing against slavery and eventually (maybe not right NOW in RP time) he decides to join oxo He's pre-approved for high class, so cert away~ ))
