Be an example to your men,
in your duty and in private life. Never spare yourself,
and let the troops see that you don't in your endurance
of fatigue and privation.

Gunnery Sargent R. Lee Ermey. He was a marine in Vietnam and after he retired from the corps became an actor. He is best known for his role in Full Metal Jacket and the DI and the host of Mail Call.

Always be tactful and well-mannered and teach your
subordinates to do the same. Avoid excessive
sharpness or harshness of voice, which usually
indicates the man who has shortcomings of his own to hide.

In marine jargon "gunny" is a term for a gunnery sergeant, but R. Lee Ermey is widely called "gunny".

*bows* thank you.... thank you.

I'd like to thank the gunny, for whom without... it would not be possible... I'd like to thank MS paint... who assisted me in this endeavor. I'd also like to thank those who supported me, and those who said it couldnt be done... for without those people... i would not have worked as hard as i did to win, on the epic level.
