Did anyone else make the connection to the show Avatar with Benjamin? Avatar Benjamin. My friend recently got me hooked on that show, and she will love it when she reads about it. wink *wink* Just thought I'd throw that out there for all the Avatar fans. I thought his powers were pretty sweet. I was also happy to finally know about all the other powers that the Volturi had, they kept telling us that they were very powerful, but never explaining them.

oooh! lol. at first i didnt have any idea what you were talking about. i didnt think about the avatar when i heard about what ben can do. he reminded me more of Zoey from the House of Night series by P.C. Cast.
Only in skills though--that is the only thing I'll agree with.

When they first told us about his power I had a picture of him surrounded by a ball of water, earth, wind, and fire. Kind of funny that i didn't make the connection to the avatar.

It's just too bad he didn't have a more important part in the book. Haha I think it would be funny if SM sat at home all day writing and watching Avatar episodes. Though, she does have three sons, so it's very possible that she got the idea from Avatar.
