Getting downloaded sims to work.

Ok. I have downloaded a sim of Modthesims2, and I put the file in my downloads folder.

I can't seem to find the sim in CAS mode. Do you have to put the sim's file anywhere special?

If the file ends in .sims2package and its icon looks like a little man stood on a circle then you don't put that file in your downloads folder. You don't put it anywhere. Just double click it and it should run the installer which puts the Sim into your BodyShop Sim Bin.
You can then delete the file.
If its not a .sims2package then let me know.

Ah ok! That is exactly what I was doing, putting the package into a file. Thanks that answers my question.
