Lola Spencer
Fourth Year Ravenclaw
Ahh, the first day of classes. Lola threw back the covers of her bedspread and swung her feet off the bed frame to the chilly wooden floor. Brushing her tangled hair behind her ears, her mind immediately jumped to the same question she asked herself every morning: "What am I going to wear today?" Though Lola's wardrobe was obviously limited by the necessity of a Hogwarts uniform of sorts, she still loved matching her clothes and trying to add a bit of uniqueness to her apparel.
She grabbed a khaki skirt, white oxford shirt, and navy sweater vest from her trunk, which remained fully packed at the foot of her bed, virtually untouched since her arrival to Hogwarts the night prior. She showered more quickly than usual, anxious to get down to the Great Hall for breakfast and get an early start to her day.
She dressed quickly and blow dried her hair halfway to completion before deciding to simply throw it back in a messy ponytail and hide its imperfections through the use of a bronze headband. "I definitely have to make time to unpack tonight," she thought to herself as she threw clothes onto her bed while desperately digging through her loaded trunk. She finally found what she was looking for, a pair of knee-high navy argyle socks, and hastily pulled them on. Lola slid her feet into her favorite pair of suede moccasins, threw all of her needed books into a giant bronze tote, and almost rushed out the door before remembering that she wasn't even wearing her Ravenclaw robes. Her mind was obviously still in a summer vacation mindset, but being the nerd she was, Lola was excited to begin what seemed to be another promising year at Hogwarts.
