nitnit
From what I've heard from the 4 people I've met a couple years older than me that are enlisted and in Iraq when they're in combat, it's funner.
It would be fun when you are outdoors, shooting live rounds and getting an adrenalin rush, but in a game if you die, you simply respawn. No chance like that in real life. Plus some of the injuries sustained can remain with you for life. Also, there is the horror of seeing your buddies blown up, and suffering from post-traumatic stress. I am not saying that this happens to every soldier, they seem to be very well protected, but if you are that one unlucky b*****d....then I am sure you wouldn't be thinking that real combat is fun.
