Who else thinks Lassiter needs a girlfriend (or boyfriend, whichever way Lassie wants it) in his life? It's getting to the point where I just feel pity for the man whenever he comes on screen!

The thing is Lassie's relationship thunder was all about his ex and his partner before O'Hara. Plus, the only relationship that ever gets developed is when its with Shawn.

Lassie is a coolie guy, I like a lot of the character's on the tv show.
I think he's too focused on work (adding to the clueless and too serious thing).
I think this is pretty much the reason Lassy does have a gf or bf. He is very focused on work, oblivious, and serious. Although, this could be a continuous loop. He is so focused on work because he doesn't have any lovely 'distrations', and he doesn't have any relationships/'distractions' because he is so focused. : ( Poor Lassie.
