Idiots.
Nevada narrowed his eyes, intent on staring down each and every one of the other children, his own brother included. Test. Bah! "You're over thinking things," he barked, pale blue eyes flashing as he turned on Daichi. "A door is a door. And since this is 'the' Door, I am going to assume it has to do with the outside," Nevada paused to motion to the tropical view, "since it JUST appeared in that flash of color." (It did just appear, didn't it? Or was I imaging things?) He frowned, and scowled, and quickly changed it to a glower directed at the boy with the paper. "Or do you all suppose it's natural for beaches to just APPEAR out of rainbows?"
Without further ado, Nevada marched past all of them and shouldered his brother to the side (forgive me, brother). Someone had to get this show on the road. He reached forward to touch the door and quickly thought the better of it (what if it was dangerous?), kicking the door open instead. With a deep breath, Nevada took a step through.
