technology makes it easier to:
-write your papers [word processing vs hand written]
-take notes in class [laptop in class, downloadable presentation slides]
-find information[instead of digging through a library look it up on the online database]
-easier to organize your notes XD

interesting..... where do you go?
we are allowed to use w/e we want except during exams xd

but then I find I take better notes with a laptop then on paper XD
since i can move it around and such if the professor decides to change their minds [happens more often then I would like]

distractions come because we let ourselves be distracted
so remove the distracting things and all is well XD

if being online is the distraction turn off the wireless lan device while in class etc.
I personally only open one or two programs related to class and note taking XD

Technology is my biggest distraction.
I spent so much time trying to find a job and failing that now I only have two months to really get this plant thing together for spring so I'm limiting my computer/video game time till after nine at night when it's too dark out to do anything anyway.
Unfortunately, my computer ends up being turned on sometime around noon so I have to keep fighting with myself not to sit down and putter! No one else seems to understand that it needs to stay off! o_o
