[PRP] First Flight?

Evelyn chirped, "Yup!"

She twirled towards her mother and stopped short of a foot before Ocean.

"Mommy, this is Anala. We're gonna try and test out our wings."

Ocean stared at her purple child, bewildered and somewhat amused.

"Alright then... But maybe you should pile a bunch of leaves together for a soft landing?"

It was the middle of summer. the leaves weren't brown and crunchy like they would be during fall, but it was better than nothing.

Anala kept pace behind Evelyn, moving to stand beside her when Evelyn introduced her to her mother. "Nice to meet you, M-ma'm," she said, automatically bowing. Her fingers twitched a second later, as she realized what she did. (Looked like she'd been watching one too many anime, recently. Agh.)

Straightening, she looked at Ocean, then the surrounding trees. Her suggestion was good, but--well, it was summer. Some leaves had fallen from the trees, as leaves always do, but would it be enough? Then again, if they were going to be running around and jumping off of things, as she thought they might, they might as well try to make the landing as soft as possible. "That's...prolly a good idea, yeah. Let's go?" Her gaze flicked toward Evelyn and she tilted her head briefly, questioning, before heading for the nearest tree.
