Wha... oooh this guy was good. Usare smirked at that and just looked at him - trying his best not to seem surprised. "Because I'm a demon too. You knew that a'ready," he said with a little smirk.
"But I bet you don't know the demon's name! Or where he goes when he's not making storms..."

Zuru nodded, acting as if he was taking the whole thing perfectly seriously.
"Ah, yeah, how did Ah forget that!" he replied, frowning in mock self-consternation. Usare's obvious challenge nearly made Zuru truly forget about the demon within Usare for a moment, so great was his amusement. There was a slight pause while Zuru jumped his mind through some creative hoops before he answered.
"Yer forgettin' that Ah met the guy! Of course Ah know!" he replied, not bothering to hide the slightly boastful tone. "Fact is, only the elephant knows the demons' name. Ya see, long ago when the elephant was young an' strong, the demon saw 'im, an' the sky sittin' on 'is back, an' decided he wanted to make some mischief! So, he limped up ta the elephant, an' begged for a ride. Cause he'd been wanderin' for near on a year without a stop, see, an his poor feet were near worn down ta nubs.
Well, now, the elephant was never a stupid elephant, an' he figured the demon was up to somethin', but in those days, he was also a kind guy. So, he tells the demon, he'll let 'im ride if the demon gives 'im its name. The demon didn't want ta, but jus' lookin' up at that sky, beggin' to be messed with, he agreed."
Zuru leaned down so he was close to Usare's ears, and whispered the next part.
"So the demon whispered his name real quiet like close to the elephants' ear, figurin' the elephant would miss it. But the elephant heard it all right, and let the demon climb on top of 'im, right next to the sky. An' of course, the demon immediately started shakin' the sky for all it was worth. But he found, hard as he try, he wasn't strong enough to completely topple the sky of the elephant's back. Since he'd given the elephant his name, he'd given the elephant some of his power, too! But, you shoulda seen the storm that swept through the sky that day!"
Zuru flung himself up on his hindlegs, and raised his paws in the air. "BOOM! The lightning itself made the earth quake, and the oceans became twice as full they've ever been, with all the rain that fell! Well, the elephant was mighty irked, I can tell you! He cursed the demon, and vowed never to return its name. Well, that set the demon right off, too! He began attackin' the elephant, but found he couldn't do more'n sting him, he'd grown so weak.
An' to this day, the demon stings the elephant, and shakes the sky, tryin' to make the elephant give his name back. When he isn't shakin' the sky, he climbs up the elephants' trunk, lookin' for his name!"
Zuru sat back down and looked triumphantly at Usare.

Usare's eyes widened as the other spun out his tale - obviously feeling a bit like he was in over his head now. Where was the other getting all of this from anyway? Geez!
And the worst part was that he couldn't really come up with anything better. So finally, he just snorted.
"I bet nobody really knows what makes storms, anyway," he growled. "So it's all just stories."
