KENTUCKY, Bardstown - Geocaching OctoberFest (Oct 10~12)

The 5th Annual October Fest @ Windy Rock Farm (waypoint GC1CQ19) in Bardstown, Kentucky will be from October 10~12 and is open to anyone with their own tent. Always tons of fun with friendly geocacher from all over the area. This year's events include a chili cookoff, haunted barn, costume contest, bonfire, Sunday morning breakfast and more.

Mwahahaha! Tomorrow I head out to Windy Rock to hang out with caches from all over the area and quaff root beer! Three days and two nights of caching, socializing and fun. I'll be away from the net of course so you guys be good and be nice to new members.

Man what great time that was. The weather was perfect for camping out on a farm with a wide view of the star filled sky (and no city lights). Great bonfires with guitars and conversation. Hay ride, haunted barn, costume contest, tent to tent trick or treating, chili cook-off and caching around Bardstown. I can't wait for next year.
