Its a great Anime, but the Live Action movie ruined it.

I agree. I just recently finished the second live-action. It was pretty awesome. I could never bring myself to read the manga, but the live-action made me reconsider. I guess I couldn't get over the funny looking shikkigami
I was pretty surprised when I put the dvd in and it was dubbed... not just subtitled. The voices weren't badly done, either. I think they actually used some Japanese actors who spoke English for the dubs. Some of the voices fit so well, they might have been the original actors speaking English. I also recognized some regular anime voice-actors just by their voice. I have to look into that because I didn't read the credits.
Though my friend and I agreed "Dani California" should not have been the end song in a Japanese movie. I think they should have used a Hyde song or something like that. It just made no sense what-so-ever.

I saw a little bit of death note and thought it was pretty good. i want to watch it from the begining though.

Personally, I love Death Note. It made me cry. I think Light was good in the beginning, but as any person would, went totally insane with his power. In my opinion, he became a false God. I still hate him for killing L-sama, but oh well. I can't help it. TT3TT And Near-san was my favorite character.

i just started watching it today. ive only seen the first episode but so far its awesome. but that L kid is a retard. no one can play god and he's sittin there in the first episode sayin he's gonna b the god of the new world that HE creates. its like come on now kid XD that kid already seems mad insane

yeah i was mad that near came in and got to bust light. i didnt want light to get caught at all (i wanted to c wat could've happened) but if anything i wanted L to catch him cuz he was mad beast

I love the amine death note it the best but I never saw the movie how is it goo or bad cause alot of live action movies are bad
