Okay, someone please tell me why they keep remaking movies and making sequels to movies that shouldn't have sequels?
Take for instance, Charlie and the Chocolate factory. It was EPIC in its original form. it was PERFECT! One shouldn't mess with perfection. Granted the remake wasn't a bad movie, it still FAILED in comparison to the original; it was just too dark.
Another good example is the new "Little Mermaid" movie. WHY do they need to make a sequel to that? What happened to "and they lived happily ever after, THE END" The most important words are THE END. That means its over. She's happy, he's happy, they're happy together, so that's where it needs to end. There's no need to go revisiting my childhood just to make a few bucks.
Anyways,
Topics of Discussion:
-Remade movies that shouldn't be
-Sequels that shouldn't be
-Remakes that should be*
-Sequels that should be*
-The evil corporation that is Disney
*Because they do exist somewhere... I just can't think of any.
