The leak was like a premature birth.

We have to put the baby in one of those things (the name is just not coming to me right now . . .), the clear box thing they use for premature births, and we have to wait for it to be healthy enough to come out.

Theres always a chance the baby won't live, and it would be so extremely sad to have that happen, but doctors are pretty good these days . . .

It's better than the ending being leaked, but everyone knows how it ends because of Twilight.

I think it would be awesome if she wrote the other books through Edward's perspective, just so everyone could know what he could have possibly been thinking, or what he was doing. Ehn, a girl can dream.

It's more like, you were painting this amazing picture. You were really proud of yourself and you were going to give it to your mom on mother's day. And then your little brother runs in while your painting it and shows the whole family at dinner.

When Stephenie Meyer says that Midnight Sun will be "on hold indefinitely," from the way she wrote that paragraph, it seems as if she will come back to it, she's just not sure how long it will take to feel like she can write it again. Though, please do not take this as the truth because it is only my theory and not fact.

I agree, shes not going to let her fans down because one person decided to be an a*****e. If she truly is a good author she will still release the book. Or she could just be screwing with all of us, and itll be released in like a month... I hope for the latter smile

I think a lot of us hope for the latter. And that the whole post idefinate post on her website was just a publicity stunt that her agent cooked up.

...wishful thinking, but oh well.

Yeah, that was in June 2008, before someone leaked the draft of Midnight Sun on the internet.
As she stated, she is postponing the project indefinitely.

Midnight is on hold indefinately!

There have been countless threads made regarding Midnight Sun.
There's petition all around the internet begging Steph to consider writing.
There's fan videos on Youtube.
Hell i wouldn't be suprised if i found Myspace dedication sites.

Personally, I don't care about Midnight Sun. I still need to read Breaking Dawn, after all.
But I hope SM does eventually finish/publish Midnight Sun so every fan can enjoy Edwardness (:
