((This RP takes place in the future... And after the birth of Hisia's cubs. [I decided not to do a birthing RP.] And so they have just been born, so the RP concludes what happens... after-wards. XD -shot- ))

Nuzzling the two cubs affectionately, Hisia's eyes lit with warmth. She felt happy beyond belief, and even though she was weak and tired, she still managed to keep herself awake. Sleep sounded good, very good, but she still had one thing on her mind. Gaze drifting towards the mask-like marking on her cub's faces, she felt a sudden pang of sorrow. Those markings were the same as their father's, they had his looks, she had to admit. She saw herself in them, and with an abrupt shove of her thoughts, she focused her attention on them once more.

Smiling, she lifted her gaze to look around. A sigh escaped her maw while she thought about one thing; names. She already had names on her mind, but they didn't seem right about them. She wanted them to fit in, fit in that no one would look at them with gleaming hatred in their eyes. Yet she doubted that. They were like a mirror image of him, and her stomach churned horribly at all the hated glances they probably would receive later in their lives.

She brought the cubs closer to her, protectively. No one would hurt them, she'd make sure of that.

"Ficha?" Hisia called weakly, looking around. After clearing her thoughts (once more, she had to say), she knew Ficha could help her with names. After all, she was slightly overwhelmed with name-picking, and what better help than her sister? Her head lowered, and she nuzzled the two cubs once more, tail curling around them.

The soft call of her sister drew her, causing the mirror image to withdraw from her area by the entrance of the den. She had stayed at Hisia's side throughout the entire ordeal, the support her sister needed in this time. She had only parted from her to rest at the entrance, giving Hisia the bonding time she needed with the little ones, once it was obvious that the worst of it had passed. The images of the little cubs had been teeming in her mind the entire time she lay there and she knew that it had been wise for her to tell Hisia to spread word of her pregnancy. Twins, as it seemed was a family trait, that looked so much like their absent father it was uncanny. It would have been terrible for both her sister and those cubs if she had brought them out into the world without some manner of forewarning to the members.

"Yes?" she said softly, turning her deep eyes onto the sight of her exhausted sister where she lay coiled around the cubs. The sight of them stirred anger in her heart, though she knew it was not towards the cubs themselves, but merely the thought of their father. For them, she was already beginning to grow affection. They were her family, as much as the royal cubs, as much as Hisia herself. She sat slowly, as to not make any noise and disturb the slumber of the little ones. Her wounds had all but healed by now, leaving behind a myriad of scars across her pelt. She looked fiercer for it, harder, and she knew that the experience had, in some ways, done just that. "What is it, Hisia?"

Her gaze rested on the Ficha's being for a moment, teal eyes wandering to look lovingly towards the cubs. Hisia returned her gaze towards her mirror image's being after another moment of gazing at the two identical looking cubs. She found it hard to stop looking at them, even if they carried the mask, the white fur, the green- everything about their appearance reeked of their father, and she told herself that they both were innocent. Both carried their mother's innocent- one thing that repeated several times in her head that the lioness sometimes felt a raging headache. She couldn't get Msiba out of her head either. Hatred, before the cubs finally came, could often be seen in her eyes. She hardly ever stopped thinking of what had happened during the earthquake while her stomach grew bigger and bigger.

And this was the outcome- and still, still, a smile was spread across her white muzzle.

"I need your help with something," She murmured as she nodded slowly. "I think it would be better if we, you and I, named them." Hisia casted another glance towards their sleeping forms. She was having the hardest time thinking of names, and since there was two- She thought it was a better idea if Ficha and her named them. Now, if there had been three- she would have loved to see Nyonda sitting here as well, helping.

Sadness flickered across her gaze before she looked towards Ficha once more.

Ficha could see the emotions written across her sister's face, too many coming and going for her to really identify and understand them. There was sadness there, though at what exactly she was unsure, but all of it seemed outshone by a solitary, strong emotion pulsing through her sister's heart: happiness. Ficha was glad of the smile she saw there, for she had been unsure, for a long time, just what Hisia would come to feel when the cubs finally arrived.

"Alright," Ficha said with a wistful smile, her thoughts too drifting to Nyonda. It seemed their family had an affinity for producing twins and triplets. Even though this had been caused by terrible circumstances, it would have been nice, she knew, to be able to share this with Nyonda. A flash of sadness passed through her as well, mixed with a terrible regret and guilt, though she buried it swiftly. Today was the day the cubs would get their names, not a day to dwell upon things she had and hadn't done.

She sat slowly at her sister's side, staring down at the little cubs curled against her belly. "They need strong names," she said softly, flicking her tail. She knew what lay ahead of the poor cubs, bearing their father's taint on innocent souls.

Her cubs would face a future full of hate and misery because of their father. They might be pushed away by most, but not by her or her sister. She knew this with all her heart that her sister wouldn't push them away, despite the father, the sire, the one who betrayed the pride and turned it upside down.

Hisia looked up at her sister's face, thinking, wondering, of the emotions that dwell deep in Ficha's heart. She never questioned her sister's motives or why she had posed herself as Nyonda during the earthquake. Whatever it was she had a good reason for it that she wasn't going to question her about.

"Strong names," she murmured as her gaze turned toward her cubs. Several names ran past her thoughts, but none of them seemed to fit either of the cubs. All the names she thought bore resemblance to Msiba, or even herself. She shook herself of the foul names, and at that moment she thought of one certain name particular, for her son. "Kamau," and as she said the name, she looked toward the small cub with a darker green tuft on his head. "a quiet warrior."

Her son had not made any sounds since he was born. He just rested quietly with no whining or sounds to be heard. She always thought of him, as he was born, as quite the warrior, and hoped that as he grew he could be considered a strong, brave lion despite the taint he bore with his appearance.
