Chinese Bullpup?

So I've been playing the original Splinter Cell. On the levels where I'm running around in China I couldn't help but notice the soldiers were all armed with rifles that were bull pup. They looked quite a bit like the French FAMAS rifle. Are there any Chinese rifles like this? Possibly a weapon inaccuracy?

... then it was probably intentional.

Probably a Type 95 or QBZ-95. Could be the type 86s as well.

Anyway, anything based off of the FAMAS has got to be fail unless the manufacturer is really good.

And when I think China, I'm thinking 300 fps Airsoft crap.
