The norm (the humans) and the slaves (the nekos) were walking throughout the dusky streets. The neko's in chains and the humans bidding, trading, and buying slaves as well as other items. Gaurds could be seen on ever corner of the market place standing around overlooking the area like statues dressed in rusty silver armor. Some with weapons that could be seen by the eye and others with thier hands crossed.
It was louder then ever hardly anyone could hear there own thoughts over everyone elses voices.
The world of Gaia had become so diffrent now enslaving demons, nekos, and any other mystical creatures. Having them bidded on and sold like materialistic merchandise.
The world had become so chaotic now. those who were captured and enslaved usually ended up being bought for bodygaurd positions, assistance in battle, just to be commanded around or for other purposes a slave dare not think about.
the rules of the trade were very well known to everyone:
If captured and enslaved:
1. It was forbidden not speak out agaisnt your master
2. It was forbidden to try and escape your master
3. It was forbidden to disobey your master
4. It was forbidden to be a slave and have a slave
5. It was forbidden not to follow the rules of the trade
6. even in the gaia towns if you are called by your master you have to abide by him/her
7. you are and will help your master in battle
8. you are to deticate your life for your master
9. you must always remember you have no freedom unless willed by your master
10. you must remember you can be sold to many differnt masters

If these simple rules of the trade were not followed it would lead to banishment, stripping of power and weapons, a unreasonable fee to your master, or death to you and your loved ones (if any)
Yes life had become rediculous and hard.
but who could blame life itself when it was really the peoples fault for such a bad economy and for the war....which was forbidden to be talked about
the war of chaotic infamy....it happened in the era of the forgotten ones...
the battle btw. all magical things and humans....even though it was a civil war
it still took a tole on society till this day.
the smell of darkness, chaos, death, and sorrow still even till this day fills the airs of gaia.
each and every person sleeping in it, breathing it in, and unkowingly at times becoming curupted by it.....it is always haunting them.....the war which is forbidden to be talked about.....
Suddenly a cart came with yet another caught neko inside....her eyes blue like water filled with saddness. Chains on both her hands and feet.
4 gaurds escorted her out of the cage. She put up no fight. The Guard on her left smirked at her.
" Stupid Girl .....did you honestly think the bounty on your haed would just dissappear and we wouldn't find you.....your a killer and being a slave to someone will show you disipline. "
she simply said nothing. Only looked at the ground with no expression whatsoever on her face.
He became furious and grabbed her by her neck and slammed her against the cage. Still she put up no fight
"yeah thats what I thought " he replied smartly
she still said nothing no thought anything ....she just simply looked him in the eyes. her eyes still looked like an ocean.
he let her go once another gaurd came then they all escorted her to a bidding area.
As they all walked with her in the center of them ppl looked at her and skolded and made nasty remarks as they caught a glimpse of what she looked like through the spaces between the gaurds as they all walked.
