I'm in the same boat as Bameon_Patron_of_Healing. It is scary but that seemed perfectly clear to me after I turned on my mental translator. -sigh- Really, it doesn't make sense not to type out something so basic.

A safe bet is that the typist must be extremely intoxicated, drooling uncontrollably, and really slow at the keyboard, holding one key for so long.

I'd like to believe that l33t and cht spk are just people trying to be funny and/or thought-provoking, but that is usually not the case. There are certifiable idiots out there who actually believe that this form of communication supercedes all others. Truth is stranger than fiction, my friends.
