The boys had been allowed to wander at last, their mother loved them dearly, that was obvious but Takua wanted to get out, run around and ignore all the stupid safety rules. After all he wanted to have fun!
"Tufe!! Tufe!!!"
He called his brother as he walked back into the den trying to find his brother. Their mother had gone hunting so now was the perfect time to explore and play before breakfast time!
"Tufe, cooome ooooon!" He chuckled a little before turning from the den and walking off a little before stopping again. Why was his brother taking so long? Tufe wasn't even taking that long but Takua was just well impatient. He wanted to get out and explore but he wouldn't do that without Tufe, they were brothers after all!

Tufani'makalagea yawned from within the den. The cub stretched and shivered before bounding out of the den with as much gusto as his small body could handle. "Ta-da!" he exclaimed cheerfully. With a swish of his tail he looked at his brother. "That better?"

"Kind of." He flicked his own tail and looked out over the grasses.
"Come on lets go explore!" He wanted to find something awesome that they could go back and find their mother and show her. Takua was very fond of his mother, both brothers had been told about how their father had left but would maybe return one day though whenever Takua heard that story the look on his mothers face as she spoke seemed that she didn't believe what it was she was saying.
"This way Tufe!" He chirpped happily before heading off in a random direction, sniffing at random things and watching the odd butterfly as it flew over. He loved the pride they lived in.
