My Heart is a Forest
You blow through my mind
Like the wind in a forest
Memories littered like the leaves on the ground
Owls cry for those sad times we've had
Their voices barely heard on the breeze
Love has not yet returned to this heart
Just as the leaves have not yet returned to the trees
The deer are our happy times
They are here for only a short while
Then run to where they belong
Mountains and valleys show me what could have been
The rivers cut deep canyons just as your heart did to mine
I will take the eagle's wings as my own
And fly once again
The Fire
Secrets are silently spoken to those who are around
The walls are listening as you turn to what you found
These words fly like a bird through the air
This bird is a dragon sending its flames higher and higher
It tells of loves silent desire
As the flames go higher and higher
The flames of loves silent desire burn hotter than the flames of Hell
Only flames of the same color can burn so well
To be with you once again is my heart's desire

I remember what we had and that is what I desire

My Lost Love
I have missed you so much since we broke apart

Broken Wing
My love for you is like that of a broken winged bird desiring to fly, but unable to achieve,

To know that our love is lost is the bird falling from the clouds,

Memories In The Rain
I loved you once and it felt like forever
I've lost you twice and I have never
Stopped loving you
The memories I have of you are the rain
Each drop bringing green to the plain
I need you once again
So I can feel that rain

Each day that passed my love only grew
I looked towards a future that you look for too
To spend every day with you, and awake to your face
I had these hopes, and you did too
To have changed so suddenly, and know not what to do

Let Us Make Rivers

The Lonesome Wolf 1/28/08
He walks the snow covered wood
Leaving his pawprints in the snow
No one knowing he was there
His lonesome howl is all they hear
And all they feel is fear of that lonesome song
He walks the valley he calls his home
Letting a mournful cry out at the moon
Always hoping to find his pack
Always hoping to find what he has lost
Always hoping to be with them again
He walks the mountains
Still looking for what has gone
He listens to the wind and hears an eerie call
He runs down the riverside his hopes higher than the birds can fly
He hears the call again and he lets out a joyful cheer
He runs and finds what he hopes to see
His pack! His friends! His family!
He runs to them, but when the wind blows
His visions leave him standing in the snow
He let's out one last mournful howl, lets his hopes go and falls into an eternal sleep in the snow
Break The Locks 1/28/08
It is time for me to break the locks of my heart and let you go
The locks that have held my love of you here for so long
It is time for these locks that have weighed me down to break
So I can finally let you go
The locks of my heart have at last become open
To see the truth of the words you have spoken
I'll be through all this soon
So don't go and worry about me anymore
I have finally started to shut that door
Lonesome Road
I've walked down that lonsome road a time or two
Always looking around and searching for you
You brought light where I never knew
That is until I started missing you
I heard the sound of your voice on the wind
Your loving laugh bringing me close
I heard you on that lonesome road
To hear your voice again and have it light my way
This could be something that I can only pray
To be in your arms again
To be in your arms again would bring back the tears

So you can see that I feel the same pain you do
The same pain I feel when I'm missing you

Dragon Shadow
The shadow of the dragon is on the ground
People hear his cry and they look around
He is flying in front of the sun
And the people start to run
As he lands on the ground the people start to cheer
This is not the dragon that they should fear
He is the white dragon sent by the gods
His only purpose to protect those of this land
The dark dragon comes from the night
His only purpose is to fight
He reeks of brimstone and rotten flesh
His armor made of metal mesh
His fire is his only light
The only thing he lets burn bright
As he flies from the darkness of the night
He wants to rule the land with a staff and rod
Sitting at his throne with all at his command
As the dragons draw in close
Their hatred for eachother rose
As they looked into the others eyes
They let out the fiercest of cries
The white dragon, eyes gleaming bright
Flies towards the dragon of the night
He is the one to start this fight
He does what he knows is right
They both take to the sky
Neither knowing which will die
They grasp eachother, things not going as planned
They are both dieing hand in hand
The white dragon then regains the fight
He knows what is is doing is right
He must win and destroy the night
The dark dragon falls and lets out one final roar
The white dragon has won and evil will rule nevermore!
A Soldier's Fate
Our soldiers are off to battle
In this unforgotten war
Their wills unable to be rattled
They know what they're fighting for
They are fighting for our freedom
It is that that drives them on this day
That and nothing more
They are fighting with God on their side
They fight showing their soldier pride
It is for those they love they fight
Because even God knows what they do is right
The Lord guides their able heart
He was with them from the very start
Though some of the soldiers may fall
They cannot ignore the call
The Lord has a place for them up above
Where the soldiers can show their love
When they make it to Heaven's gate
They know it must be fate
As they stand and salute and simply state
"Another soldier reporting for duty." and the Lord says
"Welcome home."
My Inspiration
You are my inspiration
The source of all my creation
You give me this wonderful sensation
To keep writing for you
You are the source, you are the start
You gave me this way to express my heart
Even though we have broken apart

Winter Rose
To be with you is like catching the scent of roses in winter
The scent of which will always be on your mind
Being with you lightens my heart
It takes away the pain of the past
It is you I look for whenever I am lonely
For it is you who I love
Though the winter breeze is bitter
And far apart we may be confined
As long as you love me, we can be apart
Our love can always last

Watching Airplanes
I remember that night
You and me, cuddled up tight
Wrapped in the blanket of love
Counting airplanes as fly flew above
I didn't want that night to end

Those airplanes have become no more
Because they don't have that love to fly for
Every time I think of you I start to cry
Because I still don't know why

It feels like you toyed with me

These Blind Eyes
Forgive me Lord for I didn’t see
The person I loved so much was taking you from me

I couldn’t see my love was idolized

Life keeps flowing like the waters of a river

Twilight
Temptation, as clear as day and night

The Lord puts stars in the night sky to guide those lost hearts

Silver Rain
Silver rain falls from the sky
Falling down into ones eye
Leaving a silver stain on all his memories
Silver rain falls to his heart
It warms it and says they'll never be apart
Leaving there golden memories
Silver rains wash away
But the silver stains are here to stay
Those memories that don't leave his mind
Those memories from when he was a different kind

Stepping Stones And Moonlight
The clouds are aligned like stepping stones across the sky
Giving spirits a path to fly
They follow the moon and use it as their guiding light
And they bathe themselves in the stars, the tears the Lord has cried tonight
For those souls lost through the day and night
The Lord shines his light down on you
He tells that his love will always be true
Hell
Fires that burn for eternity
No running from the flames
Burning your soul endlessly
Always increasing the pain
No hope after those gates

At First
At first I felt like I was on solid ground
Then I saw all these angels falling all around
What I once believed seemed to melt away
Then I sat down and cried today
I closed my eyes and looked to the sky
I saw so many faces in pain and I asked myself why
It was because I too had started to fall
And it was time to answer His call
From the Lord's path I have started to stray
But God has come to me today
He told me to go and take away their pain
And shower them in healing rain
