"Alright," he muttered unsure, rubbing his paw against the ground for a moment, though his ears were still flattened against his skull a little. The last thing he wanted was to have the king mad at him for keeping his daughter out when she was supposed to be doing something with him and for all Fafnir knew, whatever she was supposed to be doing with her father was something really important.
"As long as you promise you're not that late," he offered with a weak smile, starting into a loping walk back towards the pride. Just as long as she didn't get in trouble, he supposed it was okay.

Alcmene was not sure how late she was, but she was willing to believe it wasn't too late if it made Fafnir feel better. And so she decidedly smiled, nodded and bounced ahead a bit.
"I promise," she said, "So! Let's go back~!"
And with that, Ally scrambled back towards home. She was sure her father would be waiting for her, it wasn't so late that he would go searching for her yet so she aimed directly for the royal den.
