Freak_090 OberFeldwebel Freak_090 OberFeldwebel I must say power outages do really suck when it's 85-90 degrees and with 90-100% humidity. We went two days with that kind of deal. It was that way here for 2 days, then it cleared up and cooled off. Power is still on, and I suspect it won't be going out any time soon. So did things start to smell on the second day? Not really, our fish tank started to reek of rotten fish and piss yesterday (Day 4).
oh sick.
I must ask, why did it smell like piss? |

Freak_090 OberFeldwebel Oh fish piss. OK. So a filter really does make a difference? I was thinking that some random pissed in your fish tank. Ohh, lord no. My dad and I went up to a P.O.D. (seperate trips) and managed to get 4 boxes (12each 48 total) of MREs. Free MREs? Why, yes! Thank you!

Freak_090 OberFeldwebel MREs? ... never tried any. They are a pain in the a** to prepare. Trust me when I say this, MREs are not table food, and I strongly urge against it. Too much packaging, too much moving around, and not enough space. I had "Menu 9" which is Beef Stew. The stew was ok, it needed some pepper and some salt though. Menu 9 consits of: Entree - Beef Stew (7-10 w/ Tabasco)Snacks: (2) Large Crackers (Needed salt) (1) Tube of Cheese Paste (constency of Play-dough w/ the flavor of Chedar Cheese-wiz) (1) Almond Poppy seed Pound Cake (Amazingly tastey)Condiments/extras: (1) 1oz. Tabasco bottle (1) 4oz. Packet of Sugar (1) 4oz. Packet of Salt (1) Spoon (1) Package of very thin Toilet Paper (1) Book of Matches (designed to be lit in (very) damp terrain)(1) Moist Towlette (1) tube of Taster's Choice instant coffe
