Pubic Genital Lice There's a series which I have never read, but I am looking into it soon. I am trying to think of the books name's, but I all I know is that they're written by Anne Rice. The Vampire Chronicles! 1. Interview With The Vampire 2. Queen Of The Damned 3. The Vampire Lestat 4. The Vampire Armond I LOVED THOSE BOOKS! Stephenie Meyer is better in my opinion, but Anne Rice's books are like ten steps ahead of Twilight. It has bigger words, and the books are longer I think. I can't remember how long, but those books were amzing. For years, I lived by those vampires. Now i've mixed Stephenie Meyer with Anne Rice and created my own vision of vampires. But yes, check out Anee Rice's Vampire Chronicles. So awesome! Stephenie Meyer is better, though.

-Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice (I never saw the movie, but the book is great). -30 Days of Night (actually, its a graphic novel). -Dracula (I've been meaning to read that for the last four years. But I will, one day) -The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause (for some odd reason, the main character, Christopher, really reminds me of Carlisle).
Thats my two cents there.

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead (3 books out) Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz (3 books out) Marked by Kristin and P.C. Cast (4 books out) Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine (4 books out) Night World by LJ Smith (older books, not all having to do with vampires, but they looked really interesting. unsure as to how many there are since there are three books to each volume and I don't know how many volumes there are) In the Forests of the Night by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes (3 books follow in the series, but you don't have to read them in order to understand)
And, if you want to branch out a little more, try Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr. No vampires, but fearies that stalk people. Its a really good book. I couldn't put the damn thing down.
I've read at least the first book in each of these series except Morganville Vamps and Night World, but they look really good too. All these books get my stamp of approval!

i really enjoyed the Twilight series, but to me, the Vampire Academy novels which consist of Vampire Academy, Frostbite, and Shadow Kiss are just a tad better. The House of Night series is really good, too. oh, and the Vampire Kisses were enjoyable. ;D

I have to say, nothing will ever top Anne Rice and her novels. They are a work of art xd
Well, it really depends what kinda vampire novel you are looking for. If your anything like me and like your action, I'd say go with the Anita Blake novels, its really good, just there are soo many books and I can't remember the Author's name for the life of me. Just they are good, has Werewolves, Vampires, Zombies and much more.
The Darren Shan books were a good read, there is better out there.
But I have to say, myself, I am also on the look for another vampire novel. Howver I heard Marked was more on the Teen fiction....I kinda want to stay away from there for a bit.
