OberFeldwebel Fresnel Freak_090 Maybe it's not for a sling but a lanyard... ninja Rifle... lanyard...? Bruce Willis could use a rifle lanyard. I guess you would think that they would remove a useless addon. But then again, if they were smart they wouldn't have had it in the first place. Also about the shotgun; ![User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. But if they didn't have it you would have to drill a hole in the stock. I suppose the shotgun has a point. I knew the replacement caps existed, and I've also seen clamps that go between the barrel and the tube and put a swivel on the side, but I forgot how hard it is to put in a swivel and make it look good. Still though, that leaves me wondering about my pellet gun.

Stock photo, mine is pretty much identical. See the lone swivel? You can't even put a clamp on the barrel because it's a break-barrel.

Freak_090 Fresnel Freak_090 If it is a composite stock, why not just drill a hole? The stock is thin at the fore end, and I don't want to drill through the compression chamber or something. Take the stock off? I probably could, but at that point I'd need a custom sling swivel (very short so as to fit, and probably with a plate on the end to prevent pulling out), and it's more trouble than the average gun owner would put into the project, which brings back the original question.
