Volume 1
Life's hard when you're shy, harder still when you move from your quiet hometown to the bustle of a big city and a new high school. Poor Alice also has to cope with being regularly harassed by the bratty neighbor boy, Rin. Her life turns upside-down when she's stuck babysitting Rin and the annoying chore ends in unexpected tragedy. What Alice doesn't realize is there could be a greater force at work than unhappy chance!
Volume 2
Rin has recovered from his tragic fall, but life's not back to normal. Aside from Rin's proposal to Alice, he has secretly developed remarkable psychic powers and is terrorizing a biker punk. The pieces of this puzzle begin to fall together as the mysteries behind the "moon dreams" are slowly revealed.
Volume 3
Alice has had her own "moon dream," in which she was the beautiful Mokuren. Sure in the knowledge that, if they have found Mokuren, perhaps they can find the other people in their "moon dreams," Jinpachi sets out to do just that. But it's Issei's odd idea of running a letter in a cult magazine that brings them success--they have foound Hiiragi and Shusuran! Their real names are Daisuke and Sakura, and it's from them the others learn the tragic truth. The dreams are not of their future lives, but of their past as alien observers on the moon. After their home star system was destroyed, they contracted an incurable disease and quickly died, one by one. That's why they're all about the same age.
What they don't know is that the reborn Shion and Shukaido are also in the Tokyo area. But what does all this have to do with Rin and his quest for the Tokyo Tower?
Volume 4
Rin knows almost everything now, but he's keeping it to himself. When he met the others, Rin lied, claiming he was Shukaido, the age difference due to being reborn twice.
In truth, Haruhiko is the reincarnation of Shukaido, and Rin has made sure he knows the reason behind their age difference--Skukaido's treachery, which left Shion alone on the moon for nine maddening years! Shion's obsession to protect Earth has been passed on to Rin, who is intent on destroying the Moon Base and all traces of their potentially Earth-destroying past.
Overwhelmed by his past life, Haruhiko has cut himself off from everyone. When Tamura insists on talking to him, he sees more than he bargained for--including Haruhiko disappearing in front of his eyes! Having teleported to a river, the distraught Haruhiko jumps in! Issei and Sakura happen to spot him and try to save him. Will Issei make it in time?
Volume 5
The moon-dreamers seem to be falling apart. Between her brother's meddling and Jinpachi's reaction to her engagement with Rin, Alice may never go to another meeting. Issei's not too enthusiastic about going, either--especially after his frustration at reliving Enju's pain inspired him to kiss Jinpachi! In his monopoly of information, Rin throws the others a bone, telling Haruhiko to meet them as Shion.
Tamura's willing to wait for Haruhiko to come to him about his problems, but he's throwing all his free-time and connections at Haruhiko's strange situation and the mystery of Takashi's tormentor, "S." From Mikuro, an old friend's psychic brother, Tamura has learned Haruhiko's powers may not be human. But Tamura will soon leave Tokyo to accompany Takashi, who's transferring to a school in Kyoto for safety's sake. The combination of Tamura's leaving and Rin's new scheme has made Haruhiko suddenly desperate to see Tamura...
Volume 6
Tamura has taken Takashi to the relative safety of Kyoto, leaving Haruhiko to fend for himself against Rin's not so tender mercies. As promised, Haruhiko bravely confesses the sins of his past life and explains everything in a letter to Tamura. When Rin threatens Tamura, Haruhiko teleports to Kyoto in an attempt to intercept the letter. Although Haruhiko's desperation strikes a sympathetic chord in Takashi, Tamura gets the revealing letter before it can be torn apart.
Having succeeded in convincing the others that Haruhiko is the reincarnation of Shion, Rini's eager to move forward with his plans. To destory the moon base and all traces of their potentiallyu Earth-devastating past, Rin needs the others' computer passwords. He's willing todo anything to get them, even arrange a date with "Shion" and his fiancée Alice.
Volume 7
The others are remembering their passwords and growing suspicious of "Shion." Rin's cancellation of his engagement to Alice has caused her to consider she might be Mokuren. Everything's going according to Rin's plan...or so he thinks! Tamura's connections are beginning to come into play. His friend's psychic brother, Mikuro, has paid a visit to Haruhiko, leaving him a mysterious warning about the physical strain of teleporting. What harm might come from his benign advice?
Volume 8
Young Psychic Haruhiko has unknowingly failed to intercept his revealing letter to Tamura. The letter convinces Mrs. Yakushimaru to allow her sons, including the psychic Mikuro, to aid Tamura. But when Mikuro mysteriously slips Haruhiko a warning, Haruhiko thinks he's Rin's ally. Once he sees the note, Rin calls out Tamura and Mikuro. Into the middle of the resulting psychic battle enters Haruhiko. Can he convince Rin to stop? Will his diseased heart survive if he doesn't?
Volume 9
After a psychic battle in Kyoto, all the combatants are wounded--with Rin sustaining the most severe injuries. The physical and mental trauma has unlocked a Pandora's box of memories, causing Rin to relive some of Shion's most painful moments. Between his tragic childhood and psychic powers, Shion grew into an isolated, detached youth. What will be revealed by his formative years and his eventual trip to observe the Earth from the moon?
Volume 10
Still unconscious from his psychic battle with Haruhiko and Mikuro, Rin continues to remember more details of his difficult past life as Shion. His long-time rivalry with Gyokuran makes his assignment to the team complicated enough, but the first time he meets Mokuren he has a near-religious experience. With the apocalypse approaching, how will his animosity toward Gyokuran combine with his mixed feelings toward Mokuren?

Young Rin is the reincarnation of Shion, the alien moon base's socially dissonant engineer. Driven to protect the Earth by Shion's impassioned memories, Rin will do anything to achieve his mysterious goals. His attempts to control and manipulate fellow moon dreamer Haruhiko have culminated in a brutal psychic battle. The results have left Rin nearly comatose, unable to escape dreams of Shion's tormented past. After spending so much time reliving Shion's life, how is Rin supposed to cope with waking on Earth in a child's battered body?

After a psychic battle with fellow moon dreamer Haruhiko, young Rin's injuries gave him plenty of time to dream of his past life as Shion, the moon base's socially dissonant engineer. Now that he's awake, Rin's personality has become muddled. Shion's obsessive drive to save the Earth sporadically overpowers Rin's need to hide his abilities and intentions. The resulting conflict causes emotional trauma for those around him. Worse, he has been found by Tamura and Mikuro, Haruhiko's allies, so Rin must stay alert instead of focusing on his recovery. How much stress can a little boy take?

Shion, the moon base's socially dissonant engineer, had a traumatic life. In carrying Shion's memories, young Rin faces an equally trying existence. First he had to survive a 15-story fall, then an explosive psychic battle. Now, while still recovering, he has been discovered by the diligent Mr. Tamura, a potential threat to his plans. At last, the memories of mystical Mokuren begin to awaken within Alice.

Driven by secrecy and the memories of the moon base's socially dissonant engineer Shion, young Rin has fled from home to find unexpected allies amongst strangers. On a school trip to Kyoto, the others have met with Mr. Tamura and the reclusive moon dreamer Haruhiko. Finally, they know the shocking truth that Rin is Shion and that Shion was trapped alone on the moon for nine maddening years. All the stress causes the poignant memories of Mokuren to fully awaken within Alice. Once back in Tokyo, Alice's dreams reveal just how tragically difficult it was for Mokuren to grow up as a religious icon.
Volume 16
Mokuren's perspective on the moon base tragedy is vastly different from Shion's. Though she seems to be an ethereal goddess, she has her own insecurities and frustrations. She's troubled by her lack of female friends and aggravated by men who are only interested in the rarity and celebrity of her Kiche, the mystical mark of their god, Sarjalim. When she learns of the opportunity to join the research team on the KK moon base, she eagerly applies for the position, over the protest of the Lim Lians. Her wish to join good-looking men on the team is fulfilled when she meets handsome Gyokuran and Shion--but will either one quench her desires?
Volume 17
Mokuren yearns for friendship, but she keeps overhearing the members of the KK research team bad-mouthing her. Handsome Gyokuran treats her with kindness, yet Mokuren is instead drawn to bad-tempered Shion, since he's the only one who can see her as a fellow mortal. When the team learns that their star system has been destroyed, Gyokuran turns to Mokuren for a miracle, not understanding that she is just as emotionally devastated and powerless as everyone else.
Meanwhile, in the present world, Jinpachi and issei learn how to see Alice's dreams, but she's reluctant to visit the painful events of her past...
Volume 18
Though just a boy of 8, villainous Rin is wreaking havoc among the group of teenagers who remember a past life on the moon. In his quest to destroy the moon base, Rin will stop at nothing to learn the computer passwords of his former compatriots on the KK research team. To force Daisuke, the moon mission's leader, to reveal his password, Rin takes his younger brother hostage. The others desperately try to dodge Rin and are especially mindful of keeping Alice safe. But how long can they keep one step ahead of him?
Volume 19
Mokuren awakens from a fever-induced coma a week after her attack, tormented by the realization that Shion lied to her when he said he loved her. After all, if he really did, her Kiche, the mystical mark on her forehead, would have disappeared. Even so, and even though he's now treating her like a sacred being instead of a fellow human, she can't stop loving him.
On Earth, Haruhiko tries to convince Alice that Rin needs and loves her. But Alice finds herself in deep trouble, and her disturbing dreams continue, showing her the end of Mokuren's life on the KK moon base…
Volume 20
Rin is finally face to face with Alice again, and he is determined to get the computer password she used in her past life on the KK moon base. But even in the face of his vicious threats, Alice steadfastly refuses--unless he'll tell her why he needs it. It turns out that Rin's motives, tied into his past identity as Shion, are more complicated than his former moon compatriots could imagine...
Volume 21
Eight-year-old Rin is still tormented by his past life. As Shion, an engineer stationed on Earth's moon, he spent nine years alone after his home planet was annihilated and a deadly virus took the lives of his fellow scientists. Now, in the conclusion to the Please Save My Earth series, his plot to destroy the moon base--and all traces of his past life--reaches its dénouement. Alice begs Rin not to let his past life as Shion rule his future--and even threatens to jump off Tokyo Tower if Rin chooses to pursue his plot of eventually controlling the world... |
