I bet this c**k gobbler has swords and watches Naruto.

Hey... stare

I'm not a narutard though. But swords can be a fun way to clear brush.

Hey, it's a combination of the two that's bad.

Personally I've been wanting to get a Claymore.
5'8" of STEEL, and reasonably priced.

I think it's also forged with some win too.
They didn't get all Kit Rae on the piece which is nice.

But I am partial to the Quatrefoils so I'll have to get one like...

this.
Yeah, these guys are very utilitarian. That thing is almost six feet of 1075 high carbon steel. They come dull, but they sharpen up fine and you could do some serious damage with them either way. It's no flimsy piece of wall-hangery.

As long as it's tapered it'll chop a watermelon in two if you swing it hard enough.
If it's sharp you might be able to do that to a pumpkin.

They build their swords for mock fighting, so they're strong, and as dull as can be made. But dull can be fixed. wink

Oh my god, what did I start here?

Anyways, I was fortunate enough to come across a 5' piece of steel and am currently working on that in what little spare time I have now. I seriously need to work harden it though.

Yup.
I have a table grinder, and for finer sharpening I have a Dremel with a bunch of grinding attachments.

Don't worry, you're not alone. I got 2 as souvenirs when I went to China.
I already admitted that I DO watch it, though it's not like I try to be one.

Good, I'm not alone after all. One of those isn't a jian by chance is it?
