Rofl at the Buick vs Train.
Yeah, if only.
But I guess you'll have to settle with just getting a dent in your fender after hitting a cow/bear.
That's a legitimate article. Makes me want an '83 Buick.

They're a gas hog though, but if you want an Armored Car that's the best pick.
That or a Lincoln Continental. We had one of those.
Power seats, light indicator of what door was open, power windows, you name it the thing had it.
But it only got like 8 mpg or something so we sent it down the road.

It had to be a 70s or 80s model though.

I swear you could drive through someone's house without getting a single dent. The paint may need to be touched up though.

Good call.

But you know, cars under the year of '88 are now considered collector cars.

If you live in an area where the cops aren't assholes and forgive you for driving a collector on days there isn't a car show then you may want to do it.

The money saved from having normal plates may be worth having an armored car.

However, if I do see you in a rusty '88 Buick with collector plates I may want to put my size 13 wides up your a**.
Just a friendly heads up.

Before I replaced the seals in the carburetor and the plug wires I was getting 12 mpg in the Impala. No idea what I'm getting now, I haven't checked.
Surely the MPGs couldn't have decreased.
I'm guessing I'm getting about 13-14 now?

Wtf?
The quotes keep ******** up. It must be on Gaia's end since there's nothing wrong with the syntax.

Electronics. Being a technophile is too ******** expensive. Not to mention my goddamn CD drive is having strokes. I'm gonna have to buy a new one, and my dad's a d**k, so he's going to make me pay him $60/hr to replace it. Goddamn laptops...
Do it yourself Fres. I'm pretty sure you can get a bare bones laptop kit with instructions online.
It's $60 if I want a replacement Combo drive, $100 more for the upgrade to a Superdrive, which can burn DVDs. If I do this myself, I'll have to take off the topcase, the speakers, and a half-dozen other things that I could break or lose a screw in the process of removing. I think I'm gonna wait on it until I have a job, and then I'll buy a 500GB drive and upgrade that at the same time.

Is it bad that I would actually prefer a downgraded system? I'd KILL for a G5. Wish they'd made G5 laptops...

MACBUDDY!!!!! *glomp*

I got rid of my G3 and got a G4 for my birthday. It sucks that the G5s aren't on laptops yet. I'm guessing they will December or early next year.

Dude, the G5 is deader than Lenin. They don't make the chips any more, and haven't for a couple years now.

I have a second-gen MacBook 2.0Ghz, a Snow iMac G3, and an older-than-dirt G3 Wallstreet (1997, bebbeh) that I might actually fix someday.

Never heard of Walter Foster...

I've been getting into jewellery making lately. That needs all kinds of wire, beads and such. Then I still do some sculpting (mostly figures for friends) and drawing & painting (when I have time.)
Oh, and sewing if that counts too rofl Good fabrics cost a lot.
(Oh well I guess there is an advantage to most guns being banned here...Wait. NO.)

The place that I work at sells that stuff too.

Hmm, could you sew a cartridge carrier that slips onto the stock of a rifle?
xd

There is no advantage of having guns banned.
I would go into a list why but I'm sure everyone here knows why.

I think we've all read the GunFacts page. It's not just banning guns; most gun CONTROL is pointless.

I'm getting very good at spending my money on cars, it seems.

I have a 1984 Dodge, with a 79 W200 Dodge for spare parts.

I have a 1979 Bronco with a spare 1979 Bronco Ranger body (rust free, power windows and locks)

and I have my 1991 Dakota.

Sheeeeeeeeit.
