It's a dandy game for the PS3 by (guess who?) SEGA. Yup, Sega. Anyways, it combines the tactical thinking of SRPG's, such as Fire Emblem, with intensity of 3rd- Person Shooter games.

There are a total of 5 types of units you can command, who each have their own abilities that make them useful. Finding a good balance between your scouts, your heavy-shooters, your anti-tank units, your mechanics, and snipers is key to victory.

Throughout the game, you continue to unlock new abilities on your units, ranging from metal allergy to sadist, which can affect the outcome of a battle. In the example of metal allergy, just when you think you're going to get those 3 required head-shots with your 5-shot magazine, you miss with all of the ammo in your magazine, and get killed in the counter-attack.

Unlike most other SRPG games, this game allows you to choose how experience is distributed, which means you could theoretically make one unit be more powerful than another. Of course, for those die-hards who love playing games at high difficulties, the replay value is going to make this game worth buying.
