Name: Shan Hokori
Aliases/ Nicknames: None.
Physical Description: Thick, flowing brown hair cascades past his shoulders. Normally kept up with a ponytail, on occasion he has been known to let it down. He looks incredibly slender and petite, and is often mistaken for a girl. He has glowing hazel eyes, thin eyebrows, and a small, thin-lipped smile. He wears the traditional shihakusho but also wears a poncho-like cloth over it, decorated with designs of cherry blossoms and vines.

Zanpakutou:
Name: Tenchikaibyaku (Heaven and Earth's Creation)
Sealed: The sword is completely and totally standard except for the fact that all of its edges are not sharp and are, in fact, rounded. The hilt is a perfect circle, with what appears to be cracks lacing all around the guard.
Shikai ACHIEVED:
Call: Rise, Tenchikaibyaku.
Look: The blade splits in half, and then the handles bends at a 90 degree angle to form two individual tonfas. The edge of the bladed tonfas turn into an unbreakable diamond substance, and the remainder of the weapons are covered in various metals found in the earth and studded with precious gems.
Power: Tenchikaybyaku can manipulate the earth and all the elements inside it. While the manipulation itself can happen whenever and however Shan wishes, these attacks have become stand-bys in his arsenal, and his zanpaku-to seems to have an affinity with these listed abilities.
•Pillars Supporting Heaven (Tenchuu): Pillars of earth rise up from the ground at Shan's command, either to block attacks or pummel opponents from below.
•Earth Rising into the Heavens (Koudo Chuuten): Shan can summon multiple spikes from the ground to pierce his opponent.
•Ashes and Earth (Haitsuchi): Shan can take control of small particles in the air to assail an opponent. The attack can either create miniaturized weapons to slash at them, small impediments to slow them down, or enter their airways to choke them up. As the level of dust in the air increases, the potency of this attack increases.
•Broken Stone Armor (Saiseki Koutetsu): Shan can, instead of controlling the earth, call it to form around his body, providing a thick defense at sacrifice of his speed. He can't manipulate the earth during this form, but if he breaks the form for even a second he can resume his powers.
Bankai ACHIEVED:
Name: Tenchikaibyaku Zenkai
Call: "Shatter the earth with your presence, Tenchikaibyaku Zenkai!"
Look: Twin mauls, each mounted on gold poles at least fifteen feet long. The large stone hammers are immense, at least as long as three people, as tall as two, and as wide as a bus.
Powers:
• Monosugoi Sasu (Earth-Shattering Strike): When Tenchikaibyaku Zenkai strikes the earth, the surrounding acre of land is decimated, turned into a plain of shattered and displaced dirt and rock. This state of the ground makes it much easier to use his abilities, with most of his attack materials already loosened. The ground will shake continuously for a while, and the uneven juts of earth make it hard to maneuver, unless of course you know how to control it.
• Igyou Henzuru (Grotesque Transformation): Any successful hit from Tenchikaibyaku Zenkai or the manipulated ground will slowly erode at the striked zone until an entire area is solid rock. This attack affects everything but insubstantial things (like Kidou) and weapons made of reishi (zanpaku-to, Quincy bows, etc). Anything solid is fair game. A complete transformation would take approximately thirty minutes (or roughly 50-60 posts) from a small cut, or even five minutes (roughly 8-10 posts) if the wounds are severe. Any section of rock from the body can be used to further assault the opponent unless they physically remove it.
• Amatsu Chinkonkyoku (Heavenly Requiem): This ability completely removes all of Shan's ability to manipulate the earth for the remainder of the fight, and it allows Shan to regain all the reiatsu he spends flowing into the ground in order to manipulate it. With it returned, Shan gains an intense boost in strength, speed, and endurance. It's Shan's ace in the hole if he fights an opponent he cannot seem to beat.

Skills: Adept at blunt weapon, is also a student of Yagyū Shinkage-ryū, a style of fighting that adapts to an opponent's weaponry and fighting preference with adept speed and skill. He is very good at inflicting a very large amount of damage very fast, because he prefers making people suffer to killing them; however he is not against killing if necessary.
Abilities: Shikai, Bankai, Shun-po, use of Divine Weapons, etc.

• #8 Seki (Repulse) - Creates a shield that repulses and paralyzes whatever touches it.
• #26 Kyokko (Curved Light) - Hides presence and reiatsu of user or object.
• #39 Enkosen (Arc Shield) - Summons shield to block attacks

• #1 Sho (Thrust) - Pushes target away from caster.
• #11 Tsuzuri Raiden (Bound Lightning) - Sends electricity through any object capable of conducting electricity, damaging anything touching it.
Personality: Very calm and collected, he rarely so much as gets a hair out of place worrying about anything. You could say he was laid back, but that's not exactly true. He is a very dedicated worker, and does all he deems necessary to get a job done. He doesn't waste time beating anything around the bush and will just say things as he sees them. However, that's not to say he isn't a nice guy. He's just very...blunt.
Biography/History: Shan was actually born in the Sereitei, to one of the lesser noble families. He was raised with the constant motto that success is all that counts, and any means in order to get there is justified. The method of fighting is dignified, but it more resembles brawling than anything, a kind of evolutionary process from Iadojutsu, if you will. As he learned it, he learned the ability to adapt to any circumstance necessary. His family finally deemed him capable and sent him out to the world, representing his small clan.

It grants Shan multiple abilities, but he doesn't know it yet. As of right now, he has access to the first ability:
Richter Evaluation: Grant's Shan the ability to sense the presence of anyone or anything touching the ground using the reiatsu he flows constantly into the earth. If something moves, suppressed or not, he can tell. It gives him a big advantage to people trying to outwit him with speed or tricks. It also completely bypasses the reiraku ability because he can sense their strength and race almost instantly, depending on how far away they are from Shan.
