[PRP] The Heiress Returns (Kitambi + Mtembei + Nsundu + Sen)

… Well, she really couldn't have expected anything out of him. Kitambi probably should have warned him about her mother in a more direct manner. She should have probably told him that if Sen was with her mother anyone would meet their ultimate doom. But it was too late now, and she would just have to wait and see what happened. Hopefully her mother had been with Sen long enough today to be in a good mood.

"Agreed." Nsundu hummed quietly to herself as she stared at his claws. "But since you're Kitambi's mate I suppose that's okay. You can join then." It wasn’t like either of her daughters would be producing cubs anytime soon (as it should be; nobody that looked like that should have cubs with anything less than a solid black lion). Besides, what was the harm in bringing in a gay male to the pride? Would mean less trouble for the other lionesses. All in all, a good choice. "You guys can go then, unless Mtembei has anything else to say?"

Mtembei did have something to say. Just not to either of them. "Can we go now?" he whispered to Kitambi, shaking like a little dog in an ice storm. The dog couldn't be blamed, and neither could he. Of course the friend of an insane lioness would also be, you know, insane.

Sen didn't say anything until they were gone. Thumpthumpthump. She struck the drum it what could almost, almost be considered a beat. Kind of. Maybe. "So."

So long she'd waited for these sisters to start running the show for them. So impatient.

So now that it was here, you'd think she'd be in a bigger hurry since, according to her time was a wastin'.

So what?

It was in then moment where they had all the time in the world, and the whole world before them ready to take it, she found herself with no direction. It was nice.

"So where do we go from here, Drum Girl?"

Kitambi just grunted, and nudged Mtembei in the direction of the dens. "C'mon, I'll show you were we live." The faster they got out of the lionesses' presence the faster her mate would stop shaking. It was a little embarrassing to have him quiver before her mother, but even Kitambi had to admit that she would rather face a rabid hyena than her mother and Sen. Okay, maybe not a rabid hyena. Perhaps an angry bird. Close enough.

At the departure of her daughter and her male tag-along Nsundu flopped back down. Well, that settled that. Kitambi was home, she had a gay male friend, and in general life was pretty good. "Weeell, we'll let Kitambi settle in for a couple of days and then we tell our pride we're going on a trip and then we leave. And go places. Unless you have something else you need to do?" She raised her head to look questioningly at her friend.

Sen thought, just for a few seconds. That was more mind than she paid most things. There were a lot of things she should have done while she was here. Admit Mei and Chyou were hers. Tell Jun she was, too. Bring her son back. She never considered he wasn't alive. Of course he was. Just somewhere else.

All that in mind, she responded, "Nope.", and hit the drum again.
