Tokeldo snarled in anger as Thona had come over and helped him with the kill. once he finished off the baby gazelle, he was angery he had gotten help as he had wanted to show he didnt need it. tail lashing about as he kept his ears back, he had blood splatered on his legs and muzzle. " .....alright." next time he would use what he was told so that he could successfuly, with no help take down his own prey.

Thona wasn't exactly thrilled with the cubs actions, but he couldn't exactly be disappointed. He had the cub go after something almost bigger then him the first time. Which was a little tough on the cub. "Now eat. You never should kill things just to kill them." Even though Thona did it all the time. But, that was one bad habit that should be passed on.

giving a nod, Tokeldo did as he was told with out question. from having attempting to catch his prey, he had worked up an appetite anyways. once he had his fill, he licked his muzzle and started to lick his paws to clean them.

Thona, on the other hand, didn't even look once more at the carcass. He wasn't hungry, nor didn't he care for baby gazelle much. It just didn't taste as good as adults. That was just his opinion. "That was a life time chance to find a Gazelle like that, next time you'll have to settle on a rabbit." He spoke with no emotion in his voice.

" ok." Tokeldo finished his grooming as his mother did not like it when he was not clean. flicking his tail, he wondered what would happen next. staring up at thona, he now saw him as a father figure but little did he know that thona was in fact his father. tokeldo having no father figure ofcourse would turn to looking up to thona and idiolze him since he was so strong atlest thats how tokeldo saw thona.

Thona wasn't sure. His first lesson of hunting was over. He didn't know if he should walk back to the pride, or lead him somewhere else to try something else. But, he was sure the cub was well tired, but that never stopped Thona. "Well try it again. This time with a rabbit, if we can find one." He spoke and moved on. Not looking down at the cub who was looking at him.

Tokeldo was drained of alot of his energy after trying to kill that gazell but that wouldnt stop him from attempting again if Thona wished it. " ok.." lashing his tail about, he slowly followed behind, still angery with his performance earlyer. huffing to himself, he picked up his following pace, deturmed to do better and would not fail.

It didn't take long before they found a rabbit. Though, he was surprised it didn't run by now. They weren't exactly being the quietest in the land. But the bunny could probably just not had noticed. Everything drops their guard around this area. Not many rogues came around. Thona didn't have to say anything to the cub, he was sure the cub knew what to do. At least, he hoped.

Tokeldo perked up as he spotted the rabbit that was foolish enough not to run off when they came into the area. with out a word he went on the chash for the rabbit with a loud snarl. already somewhat tired, he wasnt as fast as he had been earlyer with the gazell so he went chashing the rabbit about the area. breathing heavy and still right on the rabbits tail, he went launching himself onto it to try to pin it down. sadly all he got was a face full of grass and made a loud thump when he hit the ground. groaning he stayed on the ground for the moment to let the pain of hitting the ground hard go away.

Thona rolled his eyes. Well that was even pathetic then before. He sighed. "That the best you can do." He asked rather annoyed and disappointed. Perhaps he shouldn't have made him try to hunt twice in one day. "I guess we'll have to do this another time." With that he simply turned and started to walk back the way they had came. Back to the pride, back to lay down and sleep the rest of the day away.

Tokeldo slowly got to his feet and didnt eve say a word in responce to Thona. ears flicked back, he was disapointed in himself for making the pride leader so displeased with him. he didnt even bother to follow beside thona and just keep way behind him slowly flowing feeling he had been shamefull in displeasing him not once but twice. sighing, it was back to the pride and back to his mother for now til the next time he got lessons.
