Very simple. Just tell what color the following objects are. Number from 1-5 and give your answer, but do not read anyone else's posts until you've posted. Format example:

1 - Color
2 - Color
3 - Color
4 - Color
5 - Color

What objects? The ones that still have color?
1. Umbrella is blue or is it purple? Blimey I can't tell, paper bag is brown. Not sure about the rest.
2. Yellow and green.
3. Orange color container is clear.
4. Leaves are red, tree is... gray?
5.Green, buds are whitish, table is sandstone.

So what's this supposed to be for?

Oh yeah, forgot about this.

See, I was thinking about it. And how do I know that when I see blue everyone else sees the same color as me? Maybe blue to me is somone else's orange. So I was testing to see if we all associated the same color with the same word.

It seemed like a much better idea at 3am.

Armis, your test is flawed.

See, it doesn't matter whether or not we perceive the colors the same way or not. Either way, we have been taught that all of the things we see are "This" or are "That" regardless of if we perceive it the same way or not.

Now, lets say that I see everything that you see, but on the other end of the spectrum. If you could take a picture of the world the way I see it and a picture of the world as the way you see it and compare them, you could very easily come out with the same basic picture, but with two very different color schemes.

However, because my world and your world both rely on the same frequencies of light, my colors "red" and "blue" turn into the color "purple" just as yours would, but I may perceive them as your color " Green " for example.

We have been taught that the color we see at the low end of the visible light spectrum is "red" and at the high end it is called "violet" or "purple". So, how ever you perceive a color is irrelevant to what it's name is unless you are incapable of perceiving the entire range of colors, but then you are color blind and it is a moot point.
