Well. To better compare the two fables, who do you think would win in a fight? The Hero of Oakvale, or Sparrow?

Hero of Oakvale... All the way... Has so many more powers and more powerful stuff.

We talkin' Lost Chapters HoO, or the original one?
Honestly, I dunno. It sounds like it would be a fun battle. I guess it would mainly depend on how you level the character up. HoO has more spells in his arsenal vs Sparrow, and they're also objectively more powerful...
But Sparrow, I think, is better with the long-ranged weapons, and not just because he/she gets a gun; the targeting system is much easier and faster to control.
With strength, I don't know. Hero of Oakvale kind of had most of that laid out, where as Sparrow had to learn everything during the course of the game...

Hero of Oakvale, all the way. He had Archon's armor, Avo's Tear, The Solus Greatsword, and REALLY good spells. Sparrow? A pistol and a puppy.

lol Yeah, no shining armor for little Sparrow. xp Which is a bit of a rip, the armor is cool, even if it doesn't give any protection in F2.
