Super annoying glitch.

So I had my male sim drink some Elixir and the blue glowing around him won't go away!
gonk

I've tried just about everything.
Exiting the lot and even the game.
Showering, changing his appearance.
Nothing seems to work.

It should hopefully fade off with time. I know its annoying as I had it happen to one of my teen Sims. They went to school glowing like that for days on end before it finally went.

Normally I would suggest using debug mode to force a reset on the Sim but that doesn't work for removing stuck effects for some reason.
