Eerie_Whisperer ...that is an absolutely horrible aro. that is not what i pictured aro to like at all, and i feel like he wont do a good job. hes just awk. i keep seeing him as prince caspian and just... that was a horrible job too. do not like him. I didn't like Rob at first, because I saw him as Cedric Diggory, from Harry Potter. "The Boy Who Died." He did an amazing job though, so just wait, and see how he does.

I agree with xXTwilight4LifeXx. I'm pretty sure Aro was older, at least that is the impression I got and pictured him. I envisioned him to be a older then Carlisle even or at least into middle age. I'm afraid I must agree that Bill Nye would be somewhat closer how I picture Aro then Ben Barnes. Wasn't he described as having white or greying hair at some point in time too? I mean yes Barnes is good looking but if anything I would've expected him as a Cullen, or James or one of Victoria's army newborns not Aro, no matter his acting skills. Bill Nye maybe a bit too old now by maybe 10 years but I think Barnes looks 20-25years too young.
This is randomly off topic but it just dawned on me that Rob Pattinson with stubble looks eerily similar to this guy I work with. This is the second person at my who looks like one of the Twilight actors. The other was a guy who came in the summer and his resemblance was REALLY creepy, he practically looked exactly like James, other then his hair not being as curly. I had watched the sneak peak of Bella and James a few days before. and when he can in at lunch I seriously began doubting my sanity. And on top of that some of the guys in my school are doing their hair like Edward and Jasper in the movie.Has anyone else been seeing people who are practically Twilight douplegangers? I'm beginning to wonder if this is becoming a new fashion trend...

Barnes is a good actor.
But as what everyone says, I thought Aro would be played by an older person.
Maybe not Bill Nye. He's a little TOO old.
I agree with Velsaria.
Maybe a 1-2 years older than Carlisle would be good.
` Velsaria - I've also seen one guy in my school which has Edward's hairstyle. When I asked him, why did he change his hairstyle to that, all he said was, "My mom wanted me to cut it. So I did".
That simple? I have no idea.
And I thought once, I think it was a misunderstood, I thought I saw someone like Laurent. Just not the long hair.

xXTwilight4LifeXx I thought Aro was really old...? yeah the dude in the picture looks younger than RPattz! plus he is too hot! Aro was (as I saw him) like 50ish if that dude becomes Aro that would be horrible! But very good on the eyes wink plus I am reeeeaaallly looking foreward to see how they do the whole "papery skin" thing. If Aro is hotter than Edward in the movie (not a hard accomplishment in my opinion- IN THE MOVIE NOT THE BOOK I MEAN) then that would screw up the whole movie before it starts! plus I HAAAATE Aro for what he did to Marcus so they should make Marcus the hot one instead... and Caius is supposed to have white hair so he IS older... I have an inside joke with my friend that apparently Caius has yet to discover Just For Men (it is a hair dye for men with white or gray hair)... can you see Caius just walking down a corridor and bumping into Aro and aro is like "heeey Caius... new haircut?" rofl
